At Pine & Petal Soap Co., I create handcrafted soaps that embody the beauty and fragrance of nature. The name Pine & Petal reflects my deep love for both the invigorating scent of pine (my all time favorite), and the quiet elegance of flowers. Together, they capture the essence of what I aim to create: soap that is as beautiful to look at as it is to use, offering a natural, luxurious experience in every bar.

I’m Caitlin, the maker behind Pine & Petal Soap Co. I’m based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia, where I create small batch, cold process soaps with thoughtfully chosen ingredients. My recipes are made with goat’s milk, tallow, nourishing oils, and natural colorants, resulting in a gentle, creamy lather and clean, inviting scents.

Pine & Petal is part of everyday life on Piney Creek Ranch, where we raise llamas, alpacas, and yaks. Soapmaking happens alongside farm chores and the practical, hands on work of running a small farm. This keeps my process focused, intentional, and rooted in quality rather than trends.

Every bar is poured and cut by hand using traditional soapmaking methods. I choose ingredients carefully and avoid shortcuts, focusing on solid recipes, dependable materials, and details that matter. My soaps are made without palm oil and are scented with clean fragrance oils or essential oils. Color comes from plant based powders and clays, which give each bar its soft, natural palette.
